Our owner Jackie recently interviewed with Voyage Denver for their Hidden Gems series. Here's an excerpt:
Hi Jackie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?Jackie Christman is the proud owner of Gallipott Salon and The Gallery at Gallipott. Jackie is an entrepreneur at heart, starting her first business at the age of 8 as “Marie the Magnificent,” performing magic at birthday parties and neighborhood gatherings. She is a seasoned businesswoman and has an MBA from Belmont University with a concentration in music business. After business school, she worked in the country music industry in Nashville with artists including Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, and Faith Hill. She acquired Gallipott Salon in April 2023 and opened The Gallery at Gallipott in February of 2024.

We champion healthy hair and a thriving community through holistic hair health, education-driven expertise, luxury for all, and meaningful connections. Deeply rooted in Northern Colorado, we give back through donations, partnerships, and events to enrich the community for you, for us, and for all. Since 2023, Gallipott has donated more than $30,000 to local nonprofits and our community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?I have never owned a business in the beauty industry before so taking over a well-established salon that was formerly owned and operated by a hair stylist was a challenge. However, I have learned a lot over two years of ownership and I place a great deal of trust and confidence in my stylists’ professional judgment.
